The English OCR model is bundled with the application so supported recognition can run locally after the required assets are loaded. OCR accuracy depends on scan resolution, contrast, font clarity, page rotation and image noise. Clean, high-resolution source material generally produces better recognition than blurred photographs or heavily compressed scans.
